Driver, child injured in suspected DUI crash in SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A woman and her juvenile passenger were injured overnight Sunday when their vehicle collided with a pair of police cruisers, FOX 26 reports.

The incident happened at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Fondren Road shortly after midnight, when a woman driving a truck ran a red light and collided with two police vehicles. The woman received injuries to her head, while a juvenile passenger under the age of 10 suffered unspecified non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman was charged with DWI after beer cans were found littering the crash scene.
