Deputies respond to 18-wheeler collision on SH-99 near Sugar Land

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX — A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial semi-truck was reported early Thursday morning on State Highway 99 near Sugar Land, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable for Precinct 4.
The accident took place in the 11000 block of the eastbound highway, near the city’s Riverpark neighborhood. It was first reported by the constable at 1:53 a.m.
Deputies are on an unknown major or minor crash involving and 18 wheeler near the 11000 block of SH 99

A photo taken at the scene shows at least one fire truck and a marked HCCO cruiser responding to what appears to be a jackknifed Forward Air semi-truck.
