Deputies hurt in crash on the Eastex Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – At least three deputies were injured in a crash on the Eastex Freeway Monday night, Click2Houston reports.
According to the outlet, a deputy attempted to pull over a driver on the Eastex Freeway near Beltway 8. The driver began to fight the deputy, reportedly wrestling him, per other deputies at the scene. As backup deputies were arriving to the scene, two other patrol cars crashed.
Three deputies were taken to the hospital after the incident, along with the suspect.
