Dallas – Several Injured in Dallas North Tollway Crash

At least three people were pronounced deceased following a vehicle accident on Dallas North Tollway, Sunday morning.

At around 3:00 a.m., police responded to the northbound lanes of DNT, not too far from Interstate 635, to assist in a two-vehicle accident. Initial investigation shows that a Chrysler passenger vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction along IH 635 when it collided with another car. The impact of the collision was so great which caused both vehicles to catch fire.

Emergency crews said three people died as a result of the collision–two occupants in the wrong-way vehicle and another occupant in the second car. Their identities were withheld at this time.

Police have yet to determine why the Chrysler driver was traveling on the opposite direction.

This is a developing story.
