Dallas – Pedestrian Struck and Killed on W Saner Avenue

A pedestrian was pronounced deceased after getting hit by a car on West Saner Avenue near Interstate 35 east.
According to initial reports, police received a call reporting an incident that happened at the 400 block of West Saner Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found a male pedestrian lying in the roadway, lifeless. He was only identified as a man in his 40s. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian sped off without providing assistance to the victim. His identification has yet to be determined by local authorities.
Anyone who has information relevant to the case or who knows the make and model of the car involved is encouraged to get in contact with Dallas police.
The crash remains under investigation.
