Dallas – Pedestrian Crash on Webb Chapel Extension

The Dallas Police Department is conducting an investigation about a pedestrian crash on Webb Chapel Extension, Saturday morning.
Just before 11:00 a.m., police responded to 3000 block of Webb Chapel Extension to assist in a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. Initial investigation shows that a woman was in the roadway when a passing vehicle struck her. Police said the vehicle was reportedly traveling in the far right lane when the collision took place.
The impact of the crash seriously injured the pedestrian who was only identified as a woman. She was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Area investigators have yet to determine whether or not the driver involved will be facing charges.
