Dallas – Pedestrian Crash on John Carpenter Fwy

A pedestrian collision on John Carpenter Freeway resulted in the death of one person, last April 7th, Tuesday.
The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. in the 7100 block of John Carpenter. An unnamed person was seen walking along the freeway when a passing vehicle struck him, leaving him fatally injured. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures. His identity has not yet been released.
Based on the initial investigation, the driver of the vehicle involved tried to avoid the victim but ended up hitting the pedestrian still. It was not confirmed if he sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
No charges have been made as of this writing.
