Dallas- Pedestrian crash on Bruton Road

Authorities are still in pursuit of a hit-and-run driver that killed one person on Bruton Road, Friday evening.
At around 8:40 p.m., police officers were called onto the scene after receiving an accident report involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. According to reports, the crash took place when a westbound green pickup truck traveling near the 9900 block of Bruton Road struck a person. Authorities said that the pedestrian failed to give way to the oncoming vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identification has yet to be released.
The driver of the pickup truck did not stop and render aid to the victim. He remains at large.
Investigation is still in progress.
