Dallas – Officer Injured in Car Crash on Interstate 35E

A vehicle collision involving a police cruiser sent two police officers to the hospital in Dallas, Thursday evening.
At around 11:00 p.m., a police officer responded to a vehicle stalled along Interstate 35E near Camp Wisdom Road when a passing pickup truck struck his car. The impact of the collision left two officers with undisclosed injuries. They were immediately taken to the nearest hospital where they were listed in stable condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with local investigations. He was not hurt.
The Dallas Police Department was also requested at the scene to gather information about the circumstances surrounding the incident. They are still determining whether the officers were inside the vehicle when the accident took place.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
