Dallas – Nancy Dennington Struck and Killed on Avondale Rd

The woman who died in a fatal pedestrian crash on Avondale Road has been identified by Dallas local officials, according to a local news source.
The fatality was identified as 72-year-old Nancy Jo Dennington.
Police said Dennington was seen walking on the side of the road when she was struck by an Audi that had entered the sidewalk. The force of the impact left the victim with serious injuries. She was declared deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
Based on the initial investigation, the driver of the Audi, who was identified as Ryan Crew, was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. He was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
No other information was released as the investigation is still in progress.
