Dallas – Hit-and-run Crash on South Central Expressway

The Dallas Police Department is still looking for the driver who fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian on South Central Expressway last Saturday night.
At around 11:00 p.m., local police received a call reporting a crash on South Central Expressway in southeast Oak Cliff. According to the report, a white Dodge Charger had been traveling along the roadway, near Youngblood Road, when it struck a male pedestrian. Instead of rendering aid to the victim, the driver of the vehicle sped off–leaving the victim with badly injured.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released yet, was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Local investigators arrived at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident. The whereabouts of the suspect remain unknown at this time.
