Dallas – Child Injured on Scyene Road

At least one person was sent to a hospital after a car accident on Scyene Road in Pleasant Grove, Saturday, May 11.

According to initial reports, the accident took place at around 8:00 p.m. Police said that a vehicle which was seen traveling along Scyene Road near North Masters Drive prompted a crash involving multiple vehicles. A passenger, identified only as a seven-year-old child, in the said vehicle suffered from serious injuries as a result of the said collision. He was immediately transferred to a nearby hospital for further care. His condition remains unknown.

The driver of the car was identified as 42-year-old Toby Evans. He did not sustain injuries from the incident.
Investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability. Evans was charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury.
