Dallas – Auto vs Pedestrian Collision on East Ledbetter Road

Thursday last week, an unidentified man was struck by a car on East Ledbetter Road, according to a local news source.
Just after 6:00 a.m., Dallas local police were asked to assist in a pedestrian collision at the 700 block of East Ledbetter Rd. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a man lying along the roadway, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was immediately given treatment and transported to Methodist Dallas hospital where he died shortly after. Authorities only identified the male pedestrian as a 75-year-old man.
The Dallas Police Department has yet to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident. As of this writing, no charges have been filed against the suspect driver.
