Dallas -23-year-old Man Died after Motorcycle Accident on Edd Rd

At least one person was killed after a fatal motorcycle collision on Edd Road in Rylie, Tuesday night.

Initial investigation shows that the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. at the 1700 block of Edd Rd. A Kawasaki motorcycle had been traveling along the southbound lane when it collided with a Toyota Highlander that was heading north. The rider of the motorcycle was not able to stop on time causing him to hit the passenger’s side of the Toyota, ejecting him in the process.

He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Meanwhile, the Toyota driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with responding officers.

Police said the Toyota was attempting to make a left turn when the accident took place. No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
