Dallas – 1 Killed, 2 Injured in Vehicle Accident on Clark Road

A fatal car crash on Clark Road sent two people to a hospital and killed another, according to a local news source.
At around 12:45 a.m., an auto collision was reported at the intersection of Clark Rd and Clarkridge Drive. According to officers who responded to the scene, a sedan and a pickup truck somehow collided with each other resulting in injuries. The circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear at this time.
The impact of the collision seriously injured both drivers and a female passenger. They were all taken to a local hospital where they received proper medical treatment. Unfortunately, the passenger succumbed to her injuries a few moments later.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck will be taken into custody and will be facing two counts of intoxication manslaughter once he is released from the hospital.
An investigation is underway.
