HARRIS CO., TX – A cyclist was killed Friday morning after being struck by multiple vehicles in Katy.
According to a report by Fox 26 Houston, the unidentified bicyclist was hit at about 3:30 a.m. while riding in the 15200 block of FM-529.
The man was hit by the first vehicle as both were heading east on the roadway. As he attempted to crawl to the shoulder of the roadway, he was struck by the second vehicle.
The driver in the second vehicle did not stop and wait for police after the deadly crash.
Investigators say the bicycle, as well as the roadway, did not have adequate lighting when the accident occurred.
