Crash involving HFD vehicle shuts down US-59 SB near SW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle wreck involving a Houston Fire Department vehicle was reported Friday morning on Southwest Freeway in Houston’s Braeburn Glen area, reports Click2Houston.

The collision occurred on the southbound main lanes (U.S. Highway 59) near Gessner Road at about 9:55 a.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but authorities said a white sedan was also involved.

As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed any injuries in the event.
