Crash involving 18-wheeler closes multiple lanes on FM-2100 in Crosby

CROSBY COUNTY, TX — A multi-vehicle collision Thursday morning closed all northbound lanes and caused long delays on Farm to Market Road 2100 in Crosby, according to Houston Transtar.

The accident happened at the Krenek Road intersection near the Crosby Square neighborhood and was verified at around 11:30 a.m.

Houston Transtar indicated a heavy truck and three other vehicles were involved. A cargo load was said to be lost on the roadway, but it was unclear whether it was the cause or a result of the crash.

Northbound FM 2100 was completely closed during the response, in addition to two opposing lanes and both opposing shoulders.

Authorities have not confirmed any serious injuries in the event.
