Crash causes major delays on I-46 at Airtex Dr.

HOUSTON, TX – Several lanes and nearby roads were shut down following a collision on I-45 in north Houston on Wednesday afternoon, Total Traffic Houston reports.

The collision occurred at about 1:10 p.m. within the southbound lanes of I-45, near the exit to Aritex Road.

Few details about the crash are available at this time. However, initial reports suggest three southbound lanes and two nearby frontage roads have been closed as a result.
