Crash blocks lane on US-69 in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – At least one lane was shut down following a Tuesday afternoon crash in downtown Houston.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the collision occurred at about 2:45 p.m. in the outbound lanes of the freeway, near Elgin Street.

Few details about the crash are available at this time. However, this situation is still developing.

It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a direct result of the crash.

Commuters have been advised to proceed with caution in the area as delays are likely going into Tuesday evening’s rush hour traffic.
