Corpus Christi – Rollover Collision on FM 1889 Sent Three Children to a Hospital

A brief police chase of a speeding driver ended up injuring five people, including children, on Farm to Market 1889 Road in Callallen last Thursday.
At around 8:00 p.m., police spotted a vehicle that was driving on the opposite side of the road at an unsafe speed. As officers attempted to pursue the vehicle, the driver lost control of his car causing it to overturn a number of times. The impact ejected the occupants off the car.
Three children, ages between 2 and 7, suffered from unknown injuries. They were all sent to a hospital along with the male driver and another female passenger. As per local officials, they were listed in critical but stable condition.
According to Corpus Christi police, the driver will be facing charges as a result of the accident.
The investigation is underway.
