Corpus Christi – Pedestrian Accident on Waldron Road

An auto versus pedestrian on Waldron Road in Flour Bluff caused the death of one person, Wednesday evening.

Just after 6:00 p.m., police were requested to assist in a pedestrian collision on Waldron Rd. According to the initial investigation, a man was attempting to cross the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle that was traveling in the far lane. The impact of the crash left the pedestrian, who was only identified as a man in his 60s, with undisclosed injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he was given proper medical treatment. His condition was not immediately released by medical officers.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. It was not confirmed if he will be facing any charges.
