Corpus Christi – Motorcycle Accident on Carrizo St

A motorcycle crash on Carrizo Street sent one person to the hospital, Sunday.

At around 3:00 p.m., Corpus Christi police officers responded to Carrizo St near Agnes Street after receiving a call reporting a vehicular accident involving a wrong-way driver. According to the report, a motorcycle had been traveling along the roadway when it crashed for yet undetermined reasons. The impact of the crash left the operator of the bike with head injuries. He was later transported to a nearby hospital where he was listed in a critical condition. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

No other injuries were reported.

Local investigators have yet to determine the reason that caused the motorcycle to crash. Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to get in contact with authorities.
