A man was hospitalized following a car accident on Airline Road, according to a local news source.
Just after 2:00 a.m., the Corpus Christi police responded to the 2100 block of Airline near Holly Road. In a release provided by CCPD, a vehicle went out of control while traveling along the area. The said vehicle then struck a pole, leaving lines across the road.
The male driver, who is the only occupant, was ejected from the car. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition. He was not publicly identified at this time.
The road was temporarily shut down for clearing.
Local investigators are determining whether alcohol played a role in the accident. No further details are available.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families and relatives of the injured victims. We pray for their full recovery as we hope that the Corpus Christi Police Department will do everything to bring those responsible to justice.
Sometimes, a car accident can cause serious injuries to multiple parties and that filing an insurance claim for injury compensation after an accident can get complicated. To ensure that you are properly compensated, you would need to gather enough evidence and documents that will support your claim. You also want to file this with either your insurance provider or the insurer of the responsible party as soon as possible. It could be details pertaining to the accident you are involved in or legal records of the extent of injuries you sustained. These may include a video of the scene or a photograph of the damages to the vehicles, police reports stating the facts of the accident, and medical records indicating the severity of your injury, to name a few.
