Conroe – 15-year-old Girl Victim of Hit-and-Run Collision on Browder Traylor Road

A fatal pedestrian collision took the life of a 15-year-old girl on Browder Traylor Road, according to a local news source.
Just before 6:00 p.m., local officials responded to tragic auto versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of Browder Traylor and Williams roads. A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking home from her bust stop when a green sports utility vehicle struck her. The impact of the collision killed the pedestrian instantly. She was later identified as Crystal Garcia Camacho.
The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene following the incident. He went to a nearby store where witnesses found him and returned to the scene. He has not been charged since.
An investigation is still in progress.
