Comanche-Rollover Crash Killed Two Teenagers on SH 36

Two Hamilton residents passed away in a fatal car accident on State Highway 36 south of Comanche, Monday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the rollover wreck took place at around 1:15 p.m. A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling along the southbound lanes of SH 36 when it veered off the roadway and overturned. When Texas Department of Public Safety officials arrived at the scene, the vehicle has landed on its driver’s side.
Its driver and one passenger, Felicity Kidd, 16, and Patricia Deelynn Tubbs, 16, were extricated from the wreckage with the help of emergency crews. Kidd was pronounced dead at the scene while Tubbs was taken to Comanche County Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, she passed away at a later time.
Authorities are yet to determine the cause that led the driver to went off the road. The crash remains under investigation.
