Collision shuts down several lanes on I-69 at Kirkwood Rd.

HOUSTON, TX – At least three lanes were closed following a collision on I-69 in southwest Houston this afternoon.

According to a report by Total Traffic Houston, the collision was first reported in the northbound lanes of the interstate, near the exit to Kirkwood Road.

Few details regarding the crash are available at this time.

At least three lanes were closed in the moments following the crash, causing traffic to build up in the area.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was hurt as a direct result.
