HOUSTON, TX – A collision blocked the right two lanes of the southbound 610 Loop ahead of Richmond Avenue this afternoon, Total Traffic Network Houston reports.
While we do not know what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured, it was evidently serious enough to back up traffic as far north as the Katy Freeway, three miles away.
The crash was cleared by 3:10 p.m., but traffic continued to be impacted for some time afterwards.
We will update this blog if we learn more about the incident itself.
