College Station – Student Died Following Holleman Drive Collision

College Station police officials are investigating a fatal vehicle crash that killed a student on Holleman Drive, Saturday afternoon.
In an unspecified time in the afternoon, law enforcement troopers were dispatched on Holleman near Wellborn Road to assist in a collision between two vehicles. According to initial reports, a vehicle was traveling along the southbound lane of Wellborn when, for reasons that had not been determined, it drifted off the roadway while approaching Holleman Drive. The vehicle then struck another car that was attempting to make a turn. The force of the impact left both vehicles with serious damages.
An occupant in the second vehicle died as a result of the crash. The driver of the first vehicle suffered from minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No identification has been released at this time.
Investigators are still determining the factors that caused the vehicle to go off the road.
