Cleburne – Alfredo Rodriguez Killed in a Fatal Bicycle Accident on West Henderson Street

A 69-year-old man died after gettings truck by a car on West Henderson Street last Sunday, reports said.
The victim was identified as Alfredo Rodriguez, 69, of Cleburne.
According to initial reports, Rodriguez was on his bicycle traveling along the eastbound lane of the roadway. As he attempted to turn across the lanes near the 1300 block of West Henderson Street, he was then struck by a Dodge pickup truck that was heading east.
Several bystanders who witnessed the crash performed CPR on Rodriguez. He was then rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to the injuries sustained from the impact.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified only as a 32-year-old Cleburne man, was not hurt.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
