Child struck by truck while riding bicycle in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A small child was sent to the hospital after being hit by a truck while riding a bicycle in north Houston last Friday.
According to Fox 26 Houston, the child was hit at about 1:20 p.m. in the 13100 block of Stonefield Drive, near Brundage Drive.
The child was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if the driver involved will face any charges at this time.
