Chase suspect fires gun at police before slamming into six vehicles

HOUSTON, TX – A chase suspect fired his gun at police before slamming into six vehicles on Saturday night, FOX 7 Austin reports.

Authorities attempted to pull over a suspicious vehicle but the suspect refused to stop, speeding onto the Southwest Freeway. While approaching the freeway’s intersection with Wesleyan, the suspect shot three times at a patrol vehicle.

The driver continued driver after shooting at police, crashing into a group of vehicles at Creekbend. He fled the scene on foot but was shortly arrested by authorities.

Luckily, no one involved in the wreck was seriously hurt.
