Car wreck in Katy leaves two children injured

KATY, TX – Two young children were injured in a car wreck in Katy on Monday, May 11, according to KHOU 11.
The children’s father was driving near 4600 Katy Hockley Cut Off Road when he suddenly ran into a culvert and slammed into a nearby utility pole. The force of the accident caused the pole to snap in two.
Two children, not wearing seatbelts, were sitting in the back of the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. They were care flighted to a local hospital after the accident.
The father was not injured but is reported to have been driving without a license.
