Car plunges off Eastex Freeway and into body of water

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A driver was hospitalized after their vehicle plunged off the Eastex Freeway and into a body of water on Tuesday afternoon, Click2Houston reports.
The car drove off the highway around 2 p.m., according to the Houston Fire Department. The car then fell into the Greens Bayou. Luckily, the patient was rescued and transported to Memorial Hermann Northeast.
The identity of the victim has not been made public.
