Car crashes into apartment in northwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A car crashed into an apartment in northwest Houston early Saturday morning, according to ABC 13.

A woman was sitting on her couch when a car suddenly crashed through her apartment at 8700 Hammerly Boulevard around 2 a.m. Authorities say a man traveling on the road lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a metal fence before crashing into the woman’s home.

The woman was thrown from her couch after the incident and was treated for a knee injury by first responders.

The driver of the vehicle, who has not been identified, has been arrested for a DWI.
