Authorities are still investigating a car accident on Farm to Market 2590 Road that injured at least two people, police say.
According to initial reports, police officers responded to a car crash on FM 2590 near Hunsley Hills Boulevard just after 4:00 p.m. last February 17. A motorcycle was heading south on the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it crashed into the back of a pickup truck that had stopped to give way to another vehicle that was making a turn. The impact of the collision sent the motorcycle underneath the pickup truck. Emergency crews rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment. His identification remains unknown.
A passenger in the motorcycle also sustained minor injuries, however, it was not stated if he was also treated in a hospital.
The investigation is underway.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the friends and families of the injured victims. We pray for their full recovery as we hope that the Canyon Police Department will do everything to bring those responsible to justice.
Injuries caused by vehicle collisions can vary from crash to crash. Some injuries may heal within a span of days while others could paralyze a victim’s body for a month. The most commonly known car accident injuries include neck and chest and head and back injuries. Broken and ligament damages are also quite common.
Sometimes, a car accident can cause serious injuries to multiple parties—and filing a claim can get complicated. To make sure your claim is successful, you need to gather supporting evidence and documents that can back up your claim. It could be a detailed account of the accident you are involved in or documents indicating the extent of injuries you sustained. These may include a video or photograph of the scene, police reports, and medical records, to name a few.
