Bystander motorist killed in street race on Cutten Road

HOUSTON, TX – A driver died Thursday evening in street race in which he was uninvolved, according to the team at Click2Houston.
30-year-old Jarrod Mikel was racing against another vehicle on Cutten Road near the Cypress Creek Parkway when he rear-ended a Ford F-150 in front of him, killing the driver. The victim was later identified as 26-year-old Fidel Juarez.
Mikel could spend up to 20 years in prison for his role in the accident. The other driver has not been found by authorities.
