Burleston – Head-on Collision on FM 1902 Kills Woman

The Burleston Police have identified the woman who died in a deadly car accident on Farm to Market Road 1902, according to a local news source.

Just after 2:20 p.m., local responders were dispatched to the 6800 block of FM 1902 to assist in a crash involving two vehicles. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the driver of one of the vehicles was ejected due to the force of the impact.

The driver, who was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as Charity Lynn Herrin, 26, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. A passenger, identified only as a child, was also rushed to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth with serious injuries. His condition was not immediately disclosed to the media.

Police are still determining the cause of the crash.
