Burglary suspect killed in police chase crash

HOUSTON, TX – A burglary suspect was killed in a police chase crash on Sunday morning, according to ABC 13.

A security guard encountered the suspect attempting to break into a business near 300 Lantana Heights that morning. The guard began to chase the suspect, and soon deputies were responding to the situation.

The suspect eventually ran a red light at the intersection of Greenhouse Road and Cypress North Houston Road, crashing into another vehicle. The impact of the collision threw the suspect from his car and he was declared dead at the scene. The other driver was not seriously injured.
