Bullard – Bicycle Struck and Injured by Car on Hwy 69

An auto versus bicycle accident on US Highway 96 resulted in injuries of one person, according to a local news source.
Police said the incident happened on US 69 near Country Road 3801. A bicycle was heading north on Hwy 69 when it collided with a passenger vehicle that had entered the intersection. The rider of the bicycle was sent to the hospital where he was listed in an unknown condition. The driver of the car, only identified as a woman, was not hurt. Based on the initial investigation, the woman failed to yield the right of way to the bicyclist, prompting the crash.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
