Bryan – Woman Died in Pedestrian Crash on Boonville Rd

A 34-year-old woman was pronounced deceased following a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Boonville Road in Bryan, according to a local news source.

Last Sunday, local troopers were dispatched to 2500 block of Boonville Road near Town Square Avenue in Bryan in response to a call reporting a crash. Preliminary investigation shows that an SUV was traveling along the eastbound lane when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it struck a pedestrian. The victim, identified only as a 34-year-old woman, sustained significant injuries and died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and waited for local authorities to arrived. He was not hurt.

Bryan local police are still investigating the case. They have yet to confirm if charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
