Bryan – Semi-truck Accident on FM 50

The Bryan Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 50 last Thursday.
In an unspecified time in the morning, local responders were dispatched to Highway 21 near FM 50 in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. Initial investigation indicates that an 18-wheeler truck had been traveling along the eastbound lane of the highway when it rolled on its side after attempting to make a turn towards FM 50.
Two occupants in the truck, the driver and a passenger, sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. They were taken to CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan. No identification has been released.
Bryan police officers arrived at the scene to determine the cause of the collision. They believe speed may have played a role in the crash.
An investigation is underway.
