Bryan- 1 Killed in Two-Car Crash on Highway 47

One person sustained injuries following a major vehicle collision on Highway 47 in Bryan which shut down a portion of the highway, Sunday evening.
At around 8:00 p.m., local troopers received a call reporting an accident on Highway 47. According to the report, two vehicles somehow collided with each other at the intersection near Villa Maria. Further details on how the crash actually occurred are not available at this time.
It was confirmed that one person suffered from critical injuries from the force of the impact. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received further care. His condition remains unknown.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
