Bridgeport – Woman Injured in Major Vehicle Collision on Highway 380

A 41-year-old woman was hospitalized following a car crash on Highway 380 near Farm to Market Road 1658 in Bridgeport.
Just before 9:00 a.m., police received a call reporting a crash on Hwy 380 near FM 1658. A vehicle reportedly entered the cross street when it collided with a motor home that was heading east on the highway. As a result, the operator of the vehicle suffered from non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital. She was later identified as 41-year-old Maria Dunn. Meanwhile, an occupant in the motor home was also rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The driver was not injured.
Local authorities have yet to determine whose driver was at fault. They said the area was foggy during the time of the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
