Boyd – Auto Collision on TX 114 Injured Woman

A female driver was rushed to a hospital when her vehicle crashed on Texas 114, west of Boyd, last Wednesday morning.
According to the police report, the incident took place at around 10:00 a.m. A woman seen was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger along the westbound lane of Texas 114, near County Road 4690, when, for reasons that had not been determined yet, her vehicle drifted to the side of the road and onto the south barrow ditch. The Ford continued onto a drainage culvert and then flipped on its side.
The driver of the car, who was identified as Shatorreia Stafford, 37, sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported via a medical helicopter to a Fort Worth hospital for medical treatment. The extent of her injuries remains unclear at this time.
Boyd law enforcement officials are still determining what caused Stafford to lose control of the car and veered off the road. An investigation is underway.
