Boyd – Amy Noe Killed in Vehicle Accident on FM 730

Boyd law enforcement officials have named the woman who passed away after getting involved in a car crash on Farm to Market Road 730, Wednesday.

The fatality was identified as 42-year-old Amy Christine Noe.

Just before 11:00 a.m., DPS troopers were dispatched to FM 730 near FM 2048 in response to a call reporting a crash. According to the report, a passenger vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when it ignored a red light and crashed into a semi-truck. The force of the impact ejected the driver from the passenger vehicle, Amy Noe, leaving her seriously injured. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to the injuries incurred from the crash.

Local officers did not provide information about the occupants in the semi-truck.

No one else was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
