Bloomington – Several Killed When Two Cars Collided on Texas 185

The Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a vehicle accident on TExas 185 near South Texas intersection that killed four people, Sunday morning.
In an unspecified time in the morning, DPS troopers were dispatched on Texas 185, about 10 miles southeast of Victoria, to assist in a fatal collision involving two vehicles. According to the report, a pickup truck was heading south on the highway when another pickup truck drove into its path, resulting in a crash. Police said the second pickup truck came from a U-turn slot but they did not confirm which had the right of way.
The impact of the crash sent the second truck into a utility pole, leaving its occupants fatally injured. Two of the victims were pronounced deceased while the driver was rushed to Citizens Medical Center in Victoria for treatment. He was listed in stable condition.
Authorities said all victims were restrained in their respective seats.
