Big Spring – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on FM 700

A fatal pedestrian crash on Farm to Market Road 700 in Big Spring resulted in the death of one person, last week, March 24th.
According to a local news source, a vehicle was traveling along FM 700 when it crashed into a man that was standing outside a vehicle. The impact of the crash instantly killed the pedestrian, whose identity has yet to be released.
Initial investigation shows that the victim was with a patrol officer when the incident took place. It was not confirmed if he was involved in a previous collision. The driver of the vehicle, Lindsey Woods, was taken into custody on suspicion of intoxication. She was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by Big Spring law enforcement officials.
