Big-rig falls off the Gulf Freeway in wrong-way crash

HOUSTON, TX – A big-rig fell off the Gulf Freeway in a wrong-way crash on the morning of Friday, September 18, KHOU 11 reports.

A 56-year-old driver was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the freeway, eventually slamming into an 18-wheeler. The big rig truck fell of the highway, landing in the parking lot of an aquarium down below.

Amazingly, both drivers survived the wreck. The 56-year-old driver may face criminal charges.
