Bicyclist killed in collision on West Mount Houston Road

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was killed in a collision on West Mount Houston Road on Wednesday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The bicyclist was reportedly crossing a 7 lane highway when he was hit by the striking vehicle near the road’s 1300 block. They were rushed to the hospital where they died of the injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene and was not reported as being impaired.
